WHAT: EVSRA Mock Regatta
WHO: ALL Parent Volunteers (Especially recommended for your Novice parents!!)
WHEN: THIS Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9:00am to 11:30am
WHERE: Norfolk Botanical Gardens - Administration Building Classroom
(Go in main entrance - classroom is to the right)
There is *NO FEE* for the mock regatta - admission is FREE!
When you get to the gate at the Gardens, tell them you are there for the EVSRA meeting.
For those who may be new to the EVSRA and LOC, the Mock Regatta is an information session for all regatta volunteers, as well as parents who are on the fence and MIGHT want to volunteer to help out at a regatta.
In fact, we highly recommend attendance to all NOVICE Crew parents (and those who are not so novice, but want to know what the heck is going on). Seriously, call this Crew 101. A brief history of the EVSRA will be given, as well as a showing of the phenomenal "behind-the-scenes" video graciously produced by Cox Crew and narrated by Bill Evans, the Cox Head Coach - it's been updated for 2010! A short discussion of EVSRA regatta planning (including parking, operations, etc.) will be followed by a short question and comment section.
Coffee, bagels & such will be provided. Regatta info and food - what's not to love?
